Fulfill badge requirements by attending our workshop-style programs. Typically, programs are scheduled for school holidays/breaks and weekends.
A minimum of eight scouts is required for each workshop to avoid the program’s cancellation and a maximum of 30 scouts is accepted to ensure a quality experience. Register early to save a spot for your den by calling (815) 723-5201, ext. 235.

Attention parents: The Indian Lore Merit Badge Workshop will be held at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Sunday, April 24th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration by Friday, April 22nd at 4 p.m. is required. Scouts will tour the museum, identify Native American artifacts, make items the Potowatomi would have used, learn games of skill and learn Native American sign language to fulfill their badge requirements. A minimum of 8 registrants are required for the workshop and a maximum of 30. The cost is $8.

Advance registration and payment is due by Friday, May 31 and can be made by calling 815-723-5201, ext. 235. Please be prepared to give the name of each scout that you are registering, their grade, and troop number. The cost of this program is $20 per scout. No refunds can be issued after the registration deadline. Once a scout is registered, homework requirements will be sent via e-mail.
